The main reason Dick’s Sporting Goods does not ship internationally to Trinidad and Tobago is that their shipping policies are currently limited to the contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. Dick’s does not offer shipping to US territories, international destinations, or APO/FPO addresses, making it complicated for sports enthusiasts in Trinidad and Tobago to buy directly from their online store.
When you try to checkout with an address in Trinidad and Tobago, Dick’s Sporting Goods website typically will not allow you to enter a non-US shipping address, or it will simply show an error message indicating that delivery is not available for your location.
If you’re searching for how to order from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Trinidad and Tobago, the standard checkout process will unfortunately not work. That’s why most people in Trinidad and Tobago turn to international package forwarding from the USA as a convenient solution.
What Shoppers in Trinidad and Tobago Need to Know
Buying from US stores when living in Trinidad and Tobago is now common—especially for top sporting brands that aren’t available locally or charge high markups. However, Dick’s Sporting Goods, like many American retailers, currently doesn’t include Trinidad and Tobago in their shipping destinations. This leaves shoppers with a few common concerns:
- “Can you buy Dick’s Sporting Goods items in Trinidad and Tobago?” – Only by importing through an intermediary, not by direct purchase.
- “How do I ship from the USA to Trinidad and Tobago?” – By forwarding packages from a US address to your local address.
- “Are there restrictions on sporting goods imports?” – Some items (especially weapons, supplements, large equipment) may have import limitations or extra paperwork.
- “Will my payment or billing info work?” – Some international cards work on Dick’s Sporting Goods, but if not, you can use an assisted purchase service.

Why Dick’s Sporting Goods Doesn’t Ship Directly to Trinidad and Tobago
Some US stores, like Amazon or eBay, offer limited international shipping—or have partner programs. Dick’s Sporting Goods, however, limits shipping to within the USA for the following reasons:
- International logistics: Complex logistics, customs clearance, and compliance in each country can be costly for retailers.
- Product restrictions: Sporting goods like knives, air rifles, energy products, and large exercise equipment may be subject to further regulatory restrictions for international delivery.
- Fraud prevention: Limiting international shipments may reduce fraud risk and checkout complications with international billing addresses.
Even during major sale events or seasons, these shipping rules rarely change. Always double-check Dick’s official shipping information for specific promotions.
