Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Global Shopaholics, its website, mobile applications, warehouse facilities, package forwarding services, package storage services, consolidation services, repacking services, assisted purchase services, shipping services, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By creating an account, accessing the website, submitting packages, purchasing services, using warehouse services, or otherwise utilizing any Service provided by Global Shopaholics, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Services.

These Terms incorporate by reference all policies published by Global Shopaholics, including but not limited to:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Dangerous Goods Policy
  • Insurance & Claims Policy
  • Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy
  • Membership Plan Policy
  • Refund Policy

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

For purposes of these Terms:

  • Account means a customer account registered with Global Shopaholics.
  • Customer means any individual, business, organization, or entity using the Services.
  • Package means any parcel, shipment, envelope, merchandise, item, goods, or property delivered to or handled by Global Shopaholics.
  • Shipment means one or more packages prepared for transportation to a destination.
  • Warehouse means any facility operated by or on behalf of Global Shopaholics.
  • Storage Period means the complimentary or paid storage period applicable to a package.
  • Declared Value means the value declared by the customer for customs, insurance, shipping, or related purposes.
  • Prohibited Item means any item prohibited by law, regulation, carrier requirements, customs authorities, or Global Shopaholics policies.
  • Restricted Item means any item requiring special handling, documentation, approval, licensing, or additional fees.
  • Assisted Purchase means any service where Global Shopaholics purchases goods on behalf of a customer.

Global Shopaholics may provide:

  • Package receiving
  • Package forwarding
  • Package storage
  • Package consolidation
  • Package repacking
  • Package inspection
  • Package photography
  • Assisted purchase services
  • Return processing
  • Dangerous goods screening
  • Export compliance review
  • Shipping coordination
  • Customs documentation assistance
  • Other related logistics services

Global Shopaholics is not:

  • A common carrier
  • A freight insurer
  • A customs broker
  • A bank
  • An escrow service
  • An appraisal service
  • An authentication service
  • A valuation service

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any service at any time.

Customers must:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Maintain current contact information.
  • Use only payment methods they are authorized to use.
  • Comply with all applicable laws.

Customers are responsible for maintaining account security.

Customers are responsible for all activity occurring under their account.

Global Shopaholics may suspend, restrict, investigate, or terminate any account at its sole discretion.

Global Shopaholics may place any account, package, shipment, payment, or transaction on Security Hold for any reason, including:

  • Fraud prevention
  • Identity verification
  • Export compliance review
  • Customs review
  • Sanctions screening
  • Payment verification
  • Suspicious activity
  • Carrier requirements
  • Regulatory requirements

While under Security Hold:

  • Packages may be delayed.
  • Shipments may be withheld.
  • Services may be restricted.
  • Additional documentation may be requested.

Failure to provide requested information within seven (7) days may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Service termination
  • Package abandonment
  • Package disposal

Storage allowances are determined by the membership plan active on the date a package is received by Global Shopaholics.

  • Basic Plan: Thirty (30) days complimentary storage.
  • Premium Plan: One Hundred Eighty (180) days complimentary storage.
  • Business Plan: Two Hundred Ten (210) days complimentary storage.

Storage periods are assigned when packages are received.

Subsequent upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, or plan changes do not retroactively alter storage periods applicable to previously received packages.

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to assess storage fees after complimentary storage periods expire.

Packages may be deemed abandoned if:

  • Storage periods expire.
  • Storage fees remain unpaid.
  • The customer cannot be contacted.
  • The customer fails to provide requested documentation.
  • The customer fails to pay outstanding balances.
  • Packages remain unresolved for sixty (60) days following storage expiration.

The customer irrevocably waives all ownership rights to abandoned property.

Global Shopaholics may, without further notice:

  • Dispose of abandoned packages.
  • Destroy abandoned packages.
  • Donate abandoned packages.
  • Recycle abandoned packages.
  • Liquidate abandoned packages.
  • Auction abandoned packages.
  • Resell abandoned packages.

The customer shall not be entitled to compensation, reimbursement, credits, proceeds, or recovery arising from the disposition of abandoned property.

Global Shopaholics shall have a continuing and general lien on all packages, shipments, goods, documents, and property in its possession for:

  • Shipping charges
  • Storage fees
  • Consolidation fees
  • Repacking fees
  • Customs charges
  • Duties
  • Taxes
  • Administrative fees
  • Investigation costs
  • Chargeback expenses
  • Any other amount owed

Global Shopaholics may retain, withhold, refuse shipment of, liquidate, or dispose of packages until all outstanding balances are paid.

Storage fees may continue to accrue while property remains subject to lien rights.

Due to the volume of packages processed, Global Shopaholics cannot guarantee that package refusal requests can be accommodated.

Customers remain responsible for packages delivered to their assigned suite number.

Global Shopaholics shall not be responsible for losses, delays, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Incorrect customer names
  • Missing suite numbers
  • Incorrect suite numbers
  • Incorrect tracking numbers
  • Incorrect addresses
  • Merchant errors
  • Carrier errors

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to reject, refuse, return, destroy, surrender, hold, or dispose of any package.

Customer expressly authorizes Global Shopaholics to:

  • Open packages
  • Inspect packages
  • Repack packages
  • Consolidate shipments
  • Remove invoices
  • Remove retail packaging
  • Photograph packages
  • Photograph contents
  • Scan packages
  • Weigh packages
  • Measure packages
  • Video record warehouse operations
  • Use OCR technologies
  • Use image recognition technologies
  • Use machine learning systems
  • Use artificial intelligence systems
  • Use dangerous goods screening systems
  • Use automated compliance systems

Global Shopaholics may retain photographs, videos, scans, metadata, and records for:

  • Operational purposes
  • Compliance purposes
  • Security purposes
  • Fraud prevention
  • Quality assurance
  • Insurance matters
  • Dispute resolution
  • Training purposes
  • Legal proceedings
  • Regulatory requirements

Package photographs are provided solely as a convenience and do not constitute:

  • Proof of quantity
  • Proof of authenticity
  • Proof of condition
  • Proof of completeness
  • Proof of value

Global Shopaholics owns all photographs, scans, videos, and records created in connection with its operations.

Global Shopaholics may offer Assisted Purchase services whereby Global Shopaholics purchases products on behalf of customers.

By using Assisted Purchase services, customers authorize Global Shopaholics to act as their purchasing agent.

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Product selection
  • Product specifications
  • Product legality
  • Product compatibility
  • Product suitability
  • Merchant selection

Global Shopaholics does not guarantee:

  • Product availability
  • Product authenticity
  • Product quality
  • Product performance
  • Product compatibility
  • Product warranties
  • Merchant performance

Global Shopaholics shall not be liable for:

  • Merchant errors
  • Seller fraud
  • Counterfeit products
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Product defects
  • Warranty issues
  • Missing accessories
  • Incorrect merchandise
  • Merchant cancellations
  • Merchant delays
  • Backorders

Customers acknowledge that merchant refunds may be reduced by:

  • Payment processing fees
  • Currency conversion fees
  • Return shipping fees
  • Restocking fees
  • Administrative fees
  • Merchant-imposed deductions

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to refuse any Assisted Purchase request.

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Product legality
  • Customs declarations
  • Product descriptions
  • Product values
  • Export compliance
  • Import compliance
  • Duties
  • Taxes
  • Government fees
  • Licenses
  • Permits
  • Destination-country restrictions

Customers agree not to use the Services:

  • For illegal activities
  • To violate customs laws
  • To evade duties or taxes
  • To violate export regulations
  • To violate sanctions laws
  • To facilitate fraud
  • To ship prohibited goods

Customers remain responsible for all packages delivered to their assigned suite number regardless of who placed the order.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted to Global Shopaholics is accurate and complete.

Customers shall not ship, receive, store, forward, consolidate, repack, or otherwise utilize the Services for any Prohibited Item.

Prohibited Items include, but are not limited to:

Weapons & Dangerous Items

  • Firearms
  • Firearm components
  • Ammunition
  • Explosives
  • Fireworks
  • Military equipment
  • Weapon accessories
  • Tasers
  • Stun guns
  • Pepper spray
  • Tear gas
  • Knives prohibited by law.

Controlled & Illegal Substances

  • Narcotics
  • Controlled substances
  • Illegal drugs
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Prescription medications where prohibited
  • Counterfeit pharmaceuticals

Hazardous Materials

  • Corrosives
  • Flammable liquids
  • Flammable solids
  • Oxidizers
  • Toxic substances
  • Radioactive materials
  • Compressed gases
  • Hazardous chemicals
  • Dry ice
  • Aerosols where prohibited

Financial Instruments

  • Currency
  • Cash
  • Money orders
  • Negotiable instruments
  • Stored value cards
  • Gift cards
  • Lottery tickets

Other Prohibited Items

  • Counterfeit goods
  • Stolen goods
  • Human remains
  • Live animals
  • Plants where prohibited
  • Pornographic materials where prohibited
  • Illegal products
  • Any item prohibited by applicable law
  • Any item prohibited by a carrier
  • Any item prohibited by customs authorities

Customers are solely responsible for compliance with:

  • United States export laws
  • OFAC regulations
  • Customs regulations
  • Import laws
  • Export laws
  • Carrier restrictions
  • Destination-country regulations

Customers acknowledge that customs authorities may:

  • Inspect shipments
  • Delay shipments
  • Hold shipments
  • Return shipments
  • Destroy shipments
  • Seize shipments
  • Assess duties
  • Assess taxes
  • Assess penalties
  • Assess fines

Global Shopaholics shall not be responsible for:

  • Customs delays
  • Customs inspections
  • Customs seizures
  • Import restrictions
  • Export restrictions
  • Duties
  • Taxes
  • Government fees
  • Customs penalties

Customers authorize Global Shopaholics to provide shipment information to:

  • Customs authorities
  • Government agencies
  • Law enforcement
  • Carriers
  • Insurers
  • Payment processors
  • Regulatory authorities

Such information may be provided where required by law or business necessity.

Global Shopaholics may refuse, delay, suspend, or cancel shipments where compliance concerns exist.

Transit insurance may be offered through third-party insurance providers.

Global Shopaholics is not an insurance company and does not underwrite insurance coverage.

Any insurance coverage is governed solely by the terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, and claim procedures of the applicable insurance provider.

Insurance claims may require:

  • Purchase invoices
  • Receipts
  • Proof of value
  • Order confirmations
  • Photographs
  • Shipping documentation
  • Additional documentation requested by the insurer

Insurance coverage shall never exceed:

  • The customer’s declared value
  • The insurer’s approved claim amount
  • Applicable policy limits

Warehouse Storage Is Not Insured

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by Global Shopaholics, insurance applies only while shipments are in transit.

Packages stored within Global Shopaholics facilities are not insured by Global Shopaholics.

High Value Items

Customers shipping high-value items are responsible for obtaining any insurance coverage they deem appropriate before shipping such items to Global Shopaholics.

Global Shopaholics makes no representation that insurance is available for any particular item.

Insurance Exclusions

Insurance may not cover:

  • Improper declarations
  • Undervalued declarations
  • Prohibited items
  • Restricted items
  • Fraudulent claims
  • Insufficient documentation
  • Carrier exclusions
  • Government seizures
  • Customs actions
  • Force majeure events

Claim approval is solely determined by the insurer.

Global Shopaholics shall not be responsible for denied insurance claims.

All claims must be submitted in writing.

Claims for:

  • Loss
  • Damage
  • Missing contents
  • Misdelivery
  • Service errors

Must be submitted within seven (7) calendar days of:

  • Delivery
  • Package processing
  • Shipment receipt
  • The event giving rise to the claim

Failure to submit a claim within seven (7) days constitutes a complete waiver of the claim.

Claims must include, where applicable:

  • Tracking information
  • Order confirmations
  • Purchase invoices
  • Receipts
  • Proof of value
  • Photographs of items
  • Photographs of packaging
  • Photographs of shipping labels
  • Carrier documentation
  • Any additional documentation requested

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to investigate all claims.

Customers agree to cooperate fully with any claim investigation.

Global Shopaholics may deny any claim where:

  • Documentation is incomplete
  • Evidence is insufficient
  • Information is inconsistent
  • Deadlines are missed
  • Fraud is suspected

Fraudulent, misleading, exaggerated, unsupported, or incomplete claims may result in:

  • Claim denial
  • Investigation fees
  • Account suspension
  • Account termination
  • Collection actions
  • Referral to law enforcement

False claims may be assessed a minimum administrative fee of Five United States Dollars (USD $5) plus all investigation costs incurred.

GLOBAL SHOPAHOLICS IS NOT AN INSURER OF GOODS.

Packages are stored at the customer’s risk.

Customer acknowledges that Global Shopaholics processes large volumes of packages and does not individually appraise, authenticate, verify, or evaluate the value of goods received.

Global Shopaholics shall have no responsibility to determine:

  • Market value
  • Collector value
  • Appreciation value
  • Sentimental value
  • Replacement value

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Global Shopaholics’ liability for loss or damage occurring while goods are in its possession shall not exceed the lesser of:

  1. The actual documented purchase price of the affected item; or
  2. One Hundred United States Dollars (USD $100) per package.

Global Shopaholics’ liability shall be limited solely to the affected package.

Under no circumstances shall Global Shopaholics be liable for losses relating to:

  • Any other package
  • Any shipment collection
  • Any investment
  • Any business activity
  • Future appreciation
  • Market value increases
  • Any other assets owned by the customer

High Value Items

For purposes of these Terms, High Value Items include but are not limited to:

  • Collectibles
  • Trading cards
  • Sports cards
  • Rare coins
  • Bullion
  • Precious metals
  • Precious stones
  • Jewelry
  • Luxury watches
  • Artwork
  • Memorabilia
  • Antiques
  • Rare or unique items
  • Sentimental items
  • One-of-a-kind items
  • Items whose market value materially exceeds ordinary retail value

Global Shopaholics does not authenticate, appraise, verify, certify, inspect, or determine the value, authenticity, rarity, collectability, condition, or future value of High Value Items.

High Value Items may be accepted, stored, handled, consolidated, repacked, and shipped by Global Shopaholics solely as a convenience to customers and at the customer’s own risk.

Customers are solely responsible for obtaining any insurance or other protection they deem appropriate for High Value Items prior to shipping such items to Global Shopaholics.

Acceptance of a High Value Item by Global Shopaholics shall not be construed as an assumption of liability beyond the limitations expressly set forth in these Terms.

Customer acknowledges and agrees that the value of High Value Items may be subjective, speculative, collectible, sentimental, or subject to market fluctuations, and Global Shopaholics shall have no responsibility for determining or compensating for any claimed market value, collector value, appreciation, depreciation, future value, rarity premium, or sentimental value associated with such items.

Consolidation, repacking, invoice removal, packaging optimization, and related services are performed as a convenience to customers.

Customers acknowledge that these services may involve:

  • Opening packages
  • Removing packaging
  • Removing invoices
  • Combining packages
  • Discarding excess packaging materials
  • Modifying original packaging

Original manufacturer packaging, retail packaging, inserts, wrapping materials, and manufacturer seals may be removed, modified, damaged, or discarded during processing.

Cosmetic damage to packaging shall not constitute compensable loss or damage.

Unless a specific inspection service has been purchased, Global Shopaholics does not verify package contents and shall not be responsible for:

  • Missing items from merchants
  • Merchant shortages
  • Counterfeit goods
  • Manufacturer defects
  • Incorrect merchandise
  • Empty retail packaging
  • Concealed damage existing before receipt

Global Shopaholics shall not be responsible for packaging decisions made to:

  • Reduce dimensional weight
  • Optimize shipping costs
  • Comply with carrier requirements

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOBAL SHOPAHOLICS’ TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO ANY PACKAGE, SHIPMENT, STORAGE, CONSOLIDATION, REPACKING, ASSISTED PURCHASE, TRANSACTION, OR SERVICE SHALL BE LIMITED AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THESE TERMS.

THE LIABILITY LIMITATIONS CONTAINED IN THESE TERMS ARE FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN GLOBAL SHOPAHOLICS AND THE CUSTOMER.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW:

  • LIABILITY LIMITS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE LEGAL THEORY ASSERTED.
  • LIABILITY LIMITS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF CLAIMS ASSERTED.
  • LIABILITY LIMITS APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE NUMBER OF CLAIMANTS ASSERTING CLAIMS.
  • LIABILITY LIMITS APPLY REGARDLESS OF WHETHER CLAIMS ARE BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, STATUTE, OR OTHERWISE.

Any compensation paid by Global Shopaholics shall constitute full and final settlement of all related claims.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLOBAL SHOPAHOLICS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Lost profits
  • Lost revenue
  • Lost income
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of business opportunity
  • Loss of goodwill
  • Loss of anticipated savings
  • Emotional distress
  • Reputational damage
  • Tax consequences
  • Customs duties
  • Customs penalties
  • Government fines
  • Special damages
  • Incidental damages
  • Indirect damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Exemplary damages
  • Punitive damages

These exclusions apply even if Global Shopaholics has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Consolidation, Repacking & Package Handling

Customers may request cancellation of a shipment prior to shipment dispatch.

Approved cancellations may be subject to:

  • Processing fees
  • Handling fees
  • Storage fees
  • Consolidation fees
  • Repacking fees
  • Administrative fees
  • Other charges incurred by Global Shopaholics

Upon cancellation, packages may be returned to storage and shall become subject to the storage terms applicable to the customer’s membership plan and package receipt date.

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to deny cancellation requests where:

  • Shipment processing has begun
  • Export processing has begun
  • Carrier handoff has occurred
  • Customs processing has begun
  • Shipment activities have progressed beyond a practical cancellation point

Any fees already incurred prior to cancellation are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Customers agree not to initiate chargebacks, payment reversals, payment disputes, or payment recovery actions for valid charges.

If a customer initiates a chargeback or payment dispute, Global Shopaholics may:

  • Suspend the account
  • Restrict account access
  • Place shipments on hold
  • Refuse future services
  • Assess administrative fees
  • Recover collection costs
  • Recover legal expenses

Customers remain responsible for all valid charges regardless of payment disputes.

Any chargeback determined to be improper, fraudulent, abusive, or unsupported may result in permanent account termination.

Customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Global Shopaholics and its:

  • Owners
  • Officers
  • Directors
  • Employees
  • Contractors
  • Affiliates
  • Agents
  • Representatives
  • Successors
  • Assigns

From and against any claims, actions, liabilities, losses, damages, penalties, fines, judgments, settlements, costs, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from:

  • Customer shipments
  • Customer actions
  • Customer omissions
  • Customer violations of law
  • Customer breach of these Terms
  • Customer customs declarations
  • Customer export activities
  • Customer import activities
  • Customer use of the Services

Global Shopaholics addresses are provided solely for package forwarding purposes.

Customers shall not use any Global Shopaholics address:

  • As a residential address
  • As a legal address
  • As a mailing address for government agencies
  • For business registration
  • For banking purposes
  • For financial services
  • For licensing purposes
  • For tax registrations
  • For immigration purposes
  • For any purpose unrelated to package forwarding

Global Shopaholics may refuse, return, destroy, hold, or dispose of mail or materials received in violation of this section.

Global Shopaholics may suspend, restrict, or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, for:

  • Fraud
  • Abuse
  • Chargebacks
  • Threatening conduct
  • Non-payment
  • Violations of law
  • Violations of these Terms
  • Business reasons

Termination shall not affect any obligations accrued prior to termination.

All outstanding balances shall remain immediately due and payable.

Global Shopaholics shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, losses, failures, or inability to perform resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Hurricanes
  • Tornadoes
  • Floods
  • Fires
  • Earthquakes
  • Epidemics
  • Pandemics
  • Labor disputes
  • Power outages
  • Internet outages
  • Cyberattacks
  • Carrier failures
  • Government actions
  • Customs actions
  • Regulatory actions
  • Acts of war
  • Terrorism
  • Civil unrest
  • Acts of God

Performance obligations shall be suspended during such events.

Any dispute, claim, controversy, or cause of action arising out of or relating to:

  • These Terms
  • The Services
  • Any package
  • Any shipment
  • Any transaction

shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration.

Arbitration shall be conducted in the State of Delaware.

The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve disputes regarding:

  • Interpretation
  • Applicability
  • Enforceability
  • Formation of these Terms

The arbitration award may be entered and enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CUSTOMER KNOWINGLY, VOLUNTARILY, AND IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.

CUSTOMER AGREES THAT ALL CLAIMS SHALL BE BROUGHT SOLELY IN THE CUSTOMER’S INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY.

CUSTOMER WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO:

  • Participate in class actions
  • Participate in representative actions
  • Participate in collective actions
  • Participate in private attorney general actions

No arbitration or proceeding shall be combined with any other customer’s claim.

Any claim, action, arbitration, proceeding, or lawsuit arising out of or relating to:

  • These Terms
  • The Services
  • Any package
  • Any shipment
  • Any transaction

must be commenced within one (1) year after the event giving rise to the claim.

Any claim not commenced within one (1) year shall be permanently barred.

Third-Party Services & Links

Global Shopaholics may provide access to or information regarding:

  • Third-party websites
  • Merchants
  • Carriers
  • Insurers
  • Customs brokers
  • Payment processors
  • Service providers

Global Shopaholics does not control and is not responsible for the actions, content, products, services, policies, or practices of any third party.

Customer interactions with third parties are solely between the customer and the applicable third party.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware without regard to conflict of law principles.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Failure by Global Shopaholics to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of any right.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with all incorporated policies, constitute the entire agreement between Global Shopaholics and the customer and supersede all prior agreements, communications, understandings, representations, and discussions.

By creating an account, using the Services, submitting packages, purchasing services, or otherwise engaging with Global Shopaholics, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Certain items present increased risk due to their value, rarity, collectability, market volatility, fragility, or difficulty in verifying condition, authenticity, completeness, or contents.

Restricted Items may be accepted by Global Shopaholics at its sole discretion and may be subject to additional restrictions, documentation requirements, carrier limitations, handling procedures, fees, insurance requirements, shipment delays, or refusal of service.

High-Risk & High-Value Items include, but are not limited to:

  • Precious metals
  • Bullion
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Platinum
  • Diamonds
  • Gemstones
  • Jewelry
  • Luxury watches
  • Collectibles
  • Trading cards
  • Sports cards
  • Pokémon cards
  • Graded cards
  • Rare coins

All High-Risk & High-Value Items received by, stored with, handled by, consolidated by, or shipped through Global Shopaholics are maintained solely at the customer’s risk.

Global Shopaholics does not verify authenticity, grading, condition, rarity, completeness, market value, replacement value, collectible value, or future resale value of such items.

Any loss, damage, claim, or liability relating to High-Risk & High-Value Items shall remain subject to the limitations of liability, declared value limitations, insurance limitations, and claims procedures set forth in the Terms & Conditions and applicable policies.

Certain items may be classified as Dangerous Goods (“DG”), Hazardous Materials (“HazMat”), Consumer Commodities, Excepted Quantities, Limited Quantities, or otherwise regulated for transportation purposes.

Global Shopaholics may, at its sole discretion, accept certain regulated items for storage, handling, consolidation, repacking, and shipment where permitted by applicable laws, regulations, carrier requirements, and operational capabilities.

Examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Lithium batteries
  • Devices containing lithium batteries
  • Consumer electronics containing batteries
  • Power banks
  • Consumer commodities
  • Excepted Quantity shipments
  • Limited Quantity shipments
  • Dangerous Goods permitted under applicable carrier, regulatory, and Global Shopaholics requirements
  • Any item requiring special carrier handling, documentation, labeling, packaging, or approvals

Shipment availability depends on destination-country restrictions, carrier acceptance, airline acceptance, packaging requirements, documentation requirements, quantity limitations, and applicable regulations.

Not all Dangerous Goods or regulated items can be shipped to all destinations.

Additional handling requirements, documentation requirements, packaging requirements, Dangerous Goods fees, carrier surcharges, inspections, processing delays, and transit delays may apply.

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to refuse, suspend, delay, reclassify, return, or cancel the shipment of any Dangerous Goods or regulated item at any time and for any reason, including safety, regulatory, carrier, operational, or compliance concerns.

Customers remain solely responsible for complying with all applicable Dangerous Goods, carrier, customs, export, import, and destination-country requirements.

Acceptance of a Dangerous Goods or regulated item by Global Shopaholics shall not be construed as a guarantee of shipment, customs clearance, delivery, or carrier acceptance.

Insurance & Claims Policy

Global Shopaholics is a package forwarding, storage, consolidation, and logistics service provider.

Global Shopaholics is not the manufacturer, retailer, distributor, carrier, customs authority, insurer, or seller of products received, stored, or shipped through our services.

We do not guarantee:

  • Product authenticity
  • Product quality
  • Product condition
  • Product functionality
  • Merchant performance
  • Carrier performance
  • Delivery timeframes
  • Customs clearance outcomes

Our responsibility is limited solely to the services directly performed by Global Shopaholics.

Insurance is not automatically included with every shipment.

Insurance availability depends upon:

  • Carrier availability
  • Destination country
  • Shipment contents
  • Shipment value
  • Applicable regulations

Customers may be offered optional shipment insurance or shipment protection when available.

Insurance coverage may be unavailable for certain destinations, carriers, commodities, restricted items, dangerous goods, batteries, collectibles, luxury goods, or other categories.

The purchase of insurance does not guarantee claim approval.

All claims remain subject to carrier rules, insurer requirements, exclusions, deductibles, and investigation procedures.

Customers are responsible for accurately declaring the value of all items.

Global Shopaholics may require:

  • Purchase invoices
  • Order confirmations
  • Payment receipts
  • Proof of value
  • Additional supporting documentation

Declared values must represent actual purchase values and may not be inflated.

Failure to provide accurate valuations may result in:

  • Claim denial
  • Reduced reimbursement
  • Carrier rejection
  • Customs issues

Declared value does not increase Global Shopaholics’ liability.

Customers shipping high-value items are strongly encouraged to obtain available insurance coverage.

Customers acknowledge that liability limitations contained within this Policy may be significantly lower than the value of such goods.

Packages stored within Global Shopaholics facilities are stored on a limited-liability basis.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly covered by approved insurance, Global Shopaholics’ maximum liability for loss, damage, theft, destruction, misdelivery, or other claims occurring during warehouse storage shall not exceed USD $100 per package.

Customers are encouraged to maintain independent insurance coverage for high-value goods.

Global Shopaholics may maintain operational records including:

  • Package photographs
  • Consolidation photographs
  • Shipment photographs
  • Package weights
  • Package dimensions
  • Scan histories
  • Processing logs
  • Warehouse records
  • Surveillance footage
  • Automated image recognition records
  • Inventory records

Such records may be relied upon during claim investigations.

Customers agree that these records may constitute prima facie evidence regarding package condition, contents, handling history, and processing activities.

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to approve, deny, or resolve claims based upon available records and evidence.

A shipment shall not be considered lost until:

  • The carrier officially declares the shipment lost; or
  • The carrier’s investigation period has concluded.

Customers must provide requested documentation including:

  • Tracking information
  • Proof of value
  • Shipment details
  • Purchase documentation

No reimbursement shall be issued until applicable investigations have concluded.

Customers must inspect shipments immediately upon delivery.

Damage claims must include:

  • Photos of external packaging
  • Photos of internal packaging
  • Photos of damaged items
  • Shipping labels
  • Supporting documentation

Customers must preserve all packaging materials pending investigation.

Failure to preserve packaging may result in denial of the claim.

Claims involving missing items must be reported promptly after delivery.

Customers may be required to provide:

  • Unboxing photos
  • Unboxing videos
  • Product invoices
  • Shipping documentation
  • Additional evidence requested by GS

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to review warehouse records, photographs, surveillance footage, package weights, processing records, and carrier information before determining claim eligibility.

Many claims require carrier investigation.

Global Shopaholics may assist with claim submissions when appropriate.

However:

  • Carrier approval is not guaranteed.
  • Carrier timelines are outside our control.
  • Carrier decisions may be final.

Customers agree to cooperate fully with carrier investigations.

Unless a shorter carrier deadline applies:

  • Damage claims must be reported within seven (7) days of delivery.
  • Missing contents claims must be reported within seven (7) days of delivery.
  • Loss claims must be reported within thirty (30) days after the expected delivery date.

Claims submitted after applicable deadlines may be denied.

Claims may be denied for losses arising from:

  • Improper merchant packaging
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Merchant errors
  • Incorrect merchandise
  • Customs inspections
  • Customs delays
  • Customs seizures
  • Government actions
  • Force majeure events
  • Restricted items
  • Dangerous goods restrictions
  • Perishable items
  • Temperature-sensitive goods
  • Electronic data loss
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic imperfections

Global Shopaholics assumes no responsibility for collectible, rarity, grading, sentimental, speculative, auction, replacement, market, appreciation, or future value associated with any item.

  • Rare collectibles

Any approved claim involving collectible items remains subject to all liability limitations, reimbursement caps, insurance limitations, carrier restrictions, exclusions, and other provisions contained in this Policy.

Many carriers impose restrictions on:

  • Lithium batteries
  • Power banks
  • Mobile phones
  • Laptops
  • Drones
  • Electronic devices

Insurance may be unavailable or limited for such items.

Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable carrier requirements.

Global Shopaholics shall not be liable for losses arising from:

  • Customs inspections
  • Customs confiscations
  • Customs seizures
  • Regulatory actions
  • Government investigations
  • Import violations
  • Export violations

No reimbursement shall be provided for items seized, detained, confiscated, or destroyed by government authorities.

Restricted items accepted for shipment are shipped entirely at the customer’s risk.

Insurance coverage may be unavailable, limited, or excluded.

Any loss, delay, seizure, destruction, return, confiscation, or damage involving restricted items may be ineligible for reimbursement.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly covered by approved insurance accepted by Global Shopaholics and the applicable carrier, Global Shopaholics’ maximum liability for any claim arising from storage, handling, processing, consolidation, repacking, transportation arrangements, loss, damage, delay, theft, misdelivery, destruction, or any related service shall not exceed USD $100 per shipment.

This limitation applies regardless of:

  • Purchase price
  • Declared value
  • Market value
  • Replacement value
  • Collectible value
  • Sentimental value
  • Future value
  • Auction value
  • Rarity

All reimbursements, settlements, claim payments, and recoveries remain subject to this limitation unless otherwise required by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Shopaholics shall not be liable for:

  • Lost profits
  • Lost revenue
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of opportunity
  • Emotional distress
  • Consequential damages
  • Special damages
  • Incidental damages
  • Punitive damages
  • Indirect damages

Even if advised of the possibility of such losses.

Claims involving:

  • False statements
  • Altered documents
  • Misrepresentation
  • Inflated values
  • Fraudulent evidence

may result in:

  • Claim denial
  • Account suspension
  • Account termination
  • Recovery actions
  • Referral to law enforcement

Approved claims may be resolved through:

  • Account credit
  • Repair reimbursement
  • Replacement reimbursement
  • Partial reimbursement
  • Carrier settlement
  • Insurance settlement

The method of resolution shall be determined solely by Global Shopaholics, the carrier, the insurer, or a combination thereof.

To the extent that Global Shopaholics, its insurers, or service providers compensate a customer for any loss or claim, Global Shopaholics shall be subrogated to all rights and remedies the customer may have against any carrier, merchant, supplier, insurer, manufacturer, or other third party.

Customers agree to cooperate with reasonable recovery efforts and provide any documentation necessary to preserve such rights.

The existence of a claim does not entitle a customer to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute.

Customers agree to allow Global Shopaholics, carriers, and insurers a reasonable opportunity to investigate and resolve claims before pursuing payment disputes.

Global Shopaholics may modify this Policy at any time.

Changes become effective upon publication on the Global Shopaholics website.

Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

Return Policy

Once your packages are delivered to our warehouse, Global Shopaholics may provide photographs of the received merchandise to help you verify that the correct items were delivered and assess their condition.

If the merchandise received is not what you ordered, arrives damaged, or otherwise qualifies for return under the merchant’s return policy, you may submit a return request through your account.

Global Shopaholics can assist in processing eligible returns on your behalf. To initiate a return, you must provide a valid prepaid return shipping label issued by the merchant or otherwise approved by Global Shopaholics.

A return handling fee of $5.00 per package will apply for each return request processed by Global Shopaholics.

Customers utilizing our Assisted Purchase service may receive return label assistance where available; however, all returns remain subject to the merchant’s policies, timelines, and approval requirements.

Global Shopaholics does not guarantee that any item can be returned. Returns are subject to:

  • The merchant’s return policy and acceptance.
  • Applicable laws and regulations.
  • Carrier restrictions.
  • Dangerous Goods and hazardous materials regulations.
  • Export control requirements.
  • Any limitations imposed by Global Shopaholics or its shipping partners.

Global Shopaholics may refuse to process, handle, repackage, relabel, transport, store, or return any item that:

  • Is classified as a Dangerous Good (DG), hazardous material, or regulated commodity.
  • Contains lithium batteries or other regulated materials requiring special handling.
  • Requires certifications, permits, approvals, licenses, or transportation authorizations that Global Shopaholics does not possess.
  • Is prohibited or restricted under our Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy.
  • Cannot be legally or safely transported by the available carrier network.
  • Is subject to export controls, sanctions, embargoes, or other regulatory restrictions.
  • Presents a safety, regulatory, operational, compliance, or liability risk.

Dangerous Goods, hazardous materials, and other regulated items may not be eligible for return processing, even if the original merchant accepts returns, where handling, storage, packaging, labeling, or transportation would require certifications, approvals, or carrier services unavailable to Global Shopaholics.

Global Shopaholics reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine whether any item is eligible for return processing.

In cases where an item cannot be returned, the customer may be required to arrange alternative disposition of the item, including disposal, abandonment, return through a properly authorized provider, return directly by the customer, or any other lawful means permitted by applicable law.

The customer is solely responsible for:

  • Verifying that the item qualifies for return under the merchant’s policies.
  • Obtaining any required return authorization from the merchant.
  • Providing an accurate and valid return shipping label.
  • Ensuring the item is legally eligible for transport and return.
  • Paying all applicable return shipping costs, handling fees, duties, taxes, storage charges, disposal fees, and any other associated costs.

Global Shopaholics is not responsible for delays caused by merchants, carriers, customs authorities, government agencies, regulatory reviews, or return authorization requirements.

Global Shopaholics acts solely as a forwarding and logistics service provider and does not manufacture, sell, inspect, test, authenticate, verify, guarantee, or warrant the merchandise being returned.

Global Shopaholics is not responsible for:

  • A merchant’s refusal to accept a return.
  • Denial of a refund, exchange, credit, warranty claim, or replacement.
  • Expiration of a merchant’s return window.
  • Damage, deterioration, or defects that existed prior to receipt at our facility.
  • Carrier delays, losses, or damages occurring after the package leaves our facility.
  • Any loss resulting from a customer’s decision to return merchandise.

Return shipping charges, merchant restocking fees, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, storage fees, disposal costs, and any other related expenses remain the sole responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing by Global Shopaholics.

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue return services at any time without prior notice.

Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy

Customers are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying that items are legal to export from the United States.
  • Verifying that items are legal to import into the destination country.
  • Complying with all applicable customs, export, import, carrier, aviation, transportation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Accurately declaring package contents and values.
  • Providing documentation required by carriers, customs authorities, or regulatory agencies.
  • Ensuring that shipments do not contain prohibited items.

Global Shopaholics does not guarantee that any item received at its warehouse can ultimately be shipped, exported, imported, cleared by customs, or delivered.

Customers remain solely responsible for any consequences arising from the shipment, attempted shipment, storage, handling, or transportation of prohibited or restricted items.

Restricted items are shipped solely at the customer’s risk.

By submitting restricted items for shipment, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • Shipment availability may change without notice.
  • Carriers may reject shipments.
  • Airlines may reject shipments.
  • Customs authorities may inspect shipments.
  • Customs authorities may delay shipments.
  • Customs authorities may return shipments.
  • Customs authorities may confiscate shipments.
  • Customs authorities may destroy shipments.
  • Additional fees may apply.
  • Additional documentation may be required.

Global Shopaholics makes no guarantee regarding shipment acceptance, customs clearance, import approval, export approval, delivery, or transit times for restricted items.

Global Shopaholics shall not be liable for losses, delays, confiscations, destruction, returns, penalties, duties, taxes, customs actions, carrier actions, regulatory actions, or governmental actions affecting restricted items.

  • Request invoices
  • Request proof of purchase

  • Reclassify shipment contents

Inspections may be conducted for safety, security, customs compliance, carrier compliance, fraud prevention, operational requirements, or regulatory purposes.

Customers must accurately declare all shipment contents.

If Global Shopaholics determines that a shipment contains:

  • Undeclared items
  • Misdeclared items
  • Incorrect descriptions
  • Incorrect values
  • Prohibited items
  • Undisclosed Dangerous Goods
  • Improperly packaged Dangerous Goods

Global Shopaholics may:

  • Suspend shipment processing
  • Refuse shipment
  • Require repackaging
  • Reclassify the shipment
  • Return items at the customer’s expense
  • Dispose of items where legally permitted
  • Surrender items to authorities
  • Suspend or terminate customer accounts

The customer shall remain fully responsible for all resulting fees, costs, penalties, duties, taxes, carrier charges, Dangerous Goods charges, storage charges, administrative fees, disposal fees, return fees, legal expenses, and liabilities.

Customers are responsible for all costs associated with prohibited or restricted items, including but not limited to:

  • Storage fees
  • Extended storage fees
  • Dangerous Goods handling fees
  • Dangerous Goods reclassification fees
  • Dangerous Goods packaging fees
  • Carrier surcharges
  • Airline surcharges
  • Customs charges
  • Government assessments
  • Administrative handling fees
  • Return shipping costs
  • Disposal fees
  • Destruction fees
  • Legal compliance costs

Such fees may be charged to the customer’s account without prior notice where reasonably necessary to protect Global Shopaholics, its facilities, employees, carriers, or regulatory compliance obligations.

Failure to pay such fees may result in shipment holds, account suspension, account termination, collections activity, or disposal of stored goods as permitted by law and the Terms & Conditions.

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to refuse, destroy, dispose of, abandon, surrender, quarantine, or otherwise remove prohibited items from its facilities when required by law, carrier regulations, safety requirements, operational necessity, or regulatory obligations.

No compensation shall be provided for items disposed of pursuant to this Policy.

Customs authorities, aviation authorities, government agencies, regulatory agencies, and carriers maintain independent authority over shipments.

  • Inspect shipments
  • Refuse shipments
  • Delay shipments
  • Return shipments
  • Confiscate shipments
  • Destroy shipments

Global Shopaholics is not responsible for actions taken by customs authorities, carriers, airlines, airports, government agencies, regulatory agencies, or other third parties.

Customers agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Global Shopaholics, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, successors, and assigns from and against all claims, damages, penalties, fines, liabilities, losses, costs, expenses, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from:

  • Prohibited items
  • Restricted items
  • Dangerous Goods violations
  • Customs violations
  • Export violations
  • Import violations
  • False declarations
  • Regulatory violations
  • Violations of this Policy

Receipt of an item at a Global Shopaholics warehouse does not guarantee:

  • Acceptance for shipment
  • Carrier acceptance
  • Dangerous Goods acceptance
  • Export approval
  • Import approval
  • Customs clearance
  • Delivery

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to refuse shipment of any item at any time for legal, regulatory, safety, security, operational, carrier, customs, or compliance reasons.

Global Shopaholics may modify this Policy at any time to reflect changes in laws, regulations, carrier requirements, customs requirements, operational procedures, safety standards, or business practices.

Continued use of the Services following publication of any revised Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.

  • Material composition
  • Safety Data Sheets (SDS) when requested
  • Any information necessary for classification

Failure to properly disclose dangerous goods may result in:

  • Penalties

Customers remain fully liable for all resulting costs, losses, fines, damages, and expenses.

Customers acknowledge that dangerous goods shipments may experience delays and agree that such delays shall not constitute a service failure, breach of contract, or grounds for refunds, credits, chargebacks, claims, compensation, or other remedies.

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to refuse any shipment containing:

  • Misdeclared dangerous goods
  • Improperly packaged dangerous goods
  • Damaged dangerous goods
  • Leaking dangerous goods
  • Unsafe dangerous goods
  • Prohibited dangerous goods

Where legally permitted, Global Shopaholics may:

  • Return the shipment
  • Isolate the shipment
  • Surrender the shipment to authorities
  • Dispose of the shipment
  • Destroy the shipment
  • Abandon the shipment

without liability to the customer.

Any associated costs shall be the responsibility of the customer.

The availability of a dangerous goods shipping option, quote, estimate, carrier service, prior shipment history, customer service communication, or system-generated shipping method does not constitute a guarantee that a particular item remains eligible for shipment.

Eligibility may change at any time due to:

  • Airline restrictions

  • Route availability
  • Destination-country requirements
  • Packaging conditions
  • Quantity limitations
  • Operational considerations

Global Shopaholics reserves the right to deny shipment of any item at any stage of the shipping process, even if similar items were previously accepted, quoted, processed, or shipped.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Shopaholics shall not be liable for any loss, delay, seizure, destruction, disposal, abandonment, fines, penalties, regulatory actions, carrier actions, customs actions, business interruption, consequential damages, or other damages arising from dangerous goods shipments.

Any liability that cannot be lawfully excluded shall remain subject to the liability limitations set forth in the Global Shopaholics Terms & Conditions and Liability Policy.

The customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Global Shopaholics, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, partners, and service providers from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, fines, penalties, costs, expenses, and legal fees arising out of or related to:

  • Dangerous goods shipped by the customer
  • Incorrect declarations
  • Failure to disclose regulated materials
  • Regulatory violations
  • Carrier claims
  • Customs actions
  • Government investigations
  • Third-party claims
  • Property damage
  • Personal injury
  • Environmental claims

including reasonable attorneys’ fees and legal costs.

Global Shopaholics may amend this Dangerous Goods Policy at any time without prior notice.

Dangerous goods regulations, carrier requirements, and destination-country restrictions frequently change. Customers are responsible for reviewing the most current version of this policy before shipping dangerous goods or regulated materials through Global Shopaholics.

Continued use of Global Shopaholics services constitutes acceptance of the then-current version of this Dangerous Goods Policy.
