Why Can’t Shoppers in Paraguay Order Directly from Nordstrom?
If you try to enter a Paraguayan address at Nordstrom’s online checkout, you’ll find that international destinations outside selected countries are not available—even for clothing, shoes, or beauty products that would otherwise qualify for international shipping elsewhere.
This means customers in Paraguay see this frustration:
- No Paraguay in checkout country dropdown – Only select regions are supported.
- Payment or billing issues – Some international cards and addresses are not accepted.
- Items “not eligible for international shipping” warnings, even if you use a US-based payment method.
While Nordstrom does have some global shipping partners for select locations, Paraguay is not currently included in their direct delivery network.
Does Nordstrom Deliver to Paraguay in Any Way?
Currently, there is no direct-to-Door Nordstrom delivery option for Paraguay-based shoppers. Unlike some international stores, Nordstrom’s checkout page blocks non-US and unsupported addresses. But if you want to buy from Nordstrom in Paraguay, you’re not out of options—you just need a strategic shipping workaround. This is where package forwarding services step in.
How Shoppers in Paraguay Can Get Nordstrom Items Shipped from the USA

- Address Validation: Always use the exact shipping address format provided by Global Shopaholics to avoid order delays or rejections.
- Sales, Returns & Warranties: US sales (like the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale) are accessible to international customers using forwarding services, but returns from Paraguay may be more complex and costlier.

Items & Categories Nordstrom May Not Ship Internationally
Even when forwarding is possible, certain types of products may be prohibited by Nordstrom, the shipping courier, or Paraguay customs regulations:
- Perfumes, aerosols, and flammable products (restricted by air freight)
- Large electronics with internal batteries
- Designer brands with geo-restrictions
- Gift cards, items marked “store pickup only,” or products needing in-person ID
- Prohibited imports per Paraguay’s customs authority
Before ordering, review both Nordstrom’s own shipping policies and Paraguay’s import rules. Global Shopaholics offers guidance and can clarify whether your planned order will be supported and shippable.
