If you want to buy LEGO from USA and get those exclusive sets delivered to your country, you can use a package forwarding service like Global Shopaholics. U.S. LEGO stores often offer special sets and better prices, but many won’t ship internationally. This guide explains how to buy LEGO from USA, addresses worldwide shipping challenges, and shows exactly how Global Shopaholics helps you shop U.S. LEGO stores and successfully ship LEGO sets abroad.
Quick Guide: How to Buy LEGO from USA and Ship Worldwide
- Get access to exclusive U.S. LEGO sets and deals not available internationally.
- Use a free U.S. shipping address from Global Shopaholics for your orders.
- Leverage package forwarding to receive LEGO from the USA wherever you live.
- Combine multiple LEGO purchases or shop from different American retailers in one shipment to save on shipping costs.
- Receive support if stores reject your international card or billing info, ensuring your order goes through smoothly.
Why International Shoppers Want to Buy LEGO from USA
The appeal of shopping directly from the LEGO online store USA and major U.S. retailers is clear: wider selection, limited edition sets, early releases, and sometimes better prices than what’s offered locally. Whether you’re seeking collector’s sets, LEGO Valentine’s Day Gifts, iconic LEGO Botanical Collection kits, or latest releases, the U.S. market frequently gets exclusive LEGO products unavailable elsewhere.
Unfortunately, many international LEGO shoppers face obstacles:
- No direct international shipping: The official LEGO shop USA and most big-box stores (like Target and Walmart) do not ship outside the United States.
- Payment issues: Non-U.S. cards or international billing addresses may be blocked at checkout.
- High local markups: LEGO sets sold locally can be much more expensive due to import fees and retailer pricing.
- Frequent stock shortages: Some high-demand sets never arrive in international markets—or sell out quickly.
What You Need to Know Before You Order LEGO Online from the USA
If you order LEGO online from the USA for international delivery, planning ahead is crucial. Here’s what worldwide customers need to keep in mind:
- Shipping Availability: Not all sellers ship every LEGO set, due to licensing agreements or shipping restrictions. Popular U.S. retailers include the official LEGO Gifts portal, Target LEGO, and Walmart LEGO department.
- Product Restrictions: Items with batteries, liquids, perishable goods, or very large dimensions may have shipping restrictions. Most classic LEGO sets, like love letters LEGO, collectible minifigures, and LEGO Valentine flower sets are fine to ship.
- Order Timing: Sale events or exclusive launches (e.g., seasonal LEGO sets for Valentine’s Day) often sell out fast in the U.S. Plan purchases around key dates.
- Address & Checkout: You’ll need a valid U.S. shipping address to complete checkout on most American LEGO stores.
- Customs & Duties: Import rules, taxes, and allowed items vary country by country. These fees are typically the buyer’s responsibility on arrival.
- Shipping Quotes: International shipping costs for LEGO vary by package size, weight, and destination. Package consolidation (combining multiple parcels into one) can save you significant money.
Because of these hurdles, worldwide LEGO fans turn to package forwarding: buy LEGO in the USA, ship to a U.S. address, then forward your LEGO sets overseas using a service like Global Shopaholics.

What Are the Costs When You Ship LEGO Sets from USA Worldwide?
The cost to ship LEGO sets overseas from USA depends on several factors:
- Retail price of LEGO sets: U.S. stores often have better pricing compared to other regions.
- Shipping fees: Calculated by the size and weight of your package, plus destination. Use the Global Shopaholics shipping calculator for real-time quotes.
- Package consolidation savings: Bundling multiple LEGO sets into a single parcel reduces duplicate shipping costs (see package consolidation).
- Customs duties & taxes: Each country sets its duty and tax threshold for imported toys. Check with your customs office if unsure.
- Optional service fees: Urgent handling, extra photos, or extended storage for your shipments may add a minimal cost if requested.
Shipping availability and costs can vary based on courier, address limitations, package size, and your country’s import laws. Some destinations have faster premium options; others may be slower or more restricted.
Important: Restrictions and Tips When Ordering LEGO from USA
- LEGO Sets with Electronics: Most standard sets ship easily, but those with battery packs may be subject to extra restrictions when shipping by air.
- Large/Heavy Sets: Extremely large LEGO collections could be subject to higher shipping fees or require special freight handling.
