Qatar has no VAT. Like other GCC states, it applies the GCC Common Customs Law, which sets a general customs duty of 5% on the CIF value (goods + shipping + insurance), with higher rates for tobacco and some other goods. Duties and taxes are not included in our shipping rates.
Extra charges apply to perfume. Lithium batteries, aerosols and liquids need special handling. Items banned by the carrier or by customs in Qatar can't be shipped; see our FAQs for prohibited items or read how it works.
Delivery takes 3 to 15 days, depending on the carrier service you choose: DHL, FedEx, UPS or USPS, all with tracking. Standard processing takes 4–5 working days once you request shipment. We deliver to Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah, Lusail, Al Khor and Umm Salal. Looking for the cheapest courier service in Qatar for US orders? Combine your parcels into one box and compare carriers in our calculator.
Free storage is 30 days on Basic, 180 on Premium (US$9.99/month) and 210 on Business (US$14.99/month), and paid plans earn 2% or 3% cashback. Get an instant quote in the shipping calculator for Qatar or compare our subscription plans.
Shoppers in Qatar most often order perfume, cosmetics, supplements, electronics and designer fashion from US stores such as Amazon, Walmart, Sephora, Bath & Body Works, Nike and Best Buy. Where a US store doesn't ship to Qatar, your US address fills the gap. If a store won't accept your card, our Assisted Purchase team can buy it for you. See our guide to shopping Amazon from Qatar.
