Understanding the Problem: Can You Ship from Nordstrom USA to Peru?
Nordstrom is an iconic American retailer offering fashion, beauty, accessories, and more. It’s popular with shoppers in Peru for access to genuine American brands, better variety, and competitive US prices. However, if you try to check out on Nordstrom.com and enter a Peru shipping address, you’ll likely see that international shipping is not available for your order, or that Peru is not listed as a shipping destination.
This leaves international shoppers facing several challenges:
- Limited or unavailable international shipping for most Nordstrom items.
- No Peru delivery option at checkout, even for basic goods.
- Risk of checkout errors if you try to enter an international billing or shipping address.
- Potential payment rejection if using non-US cards or foreign billing addresses.
- Restricted product categories (like fragrances, tech items, or some luxury goods) may have export or carrier limitations.
What Peruvian Shoppers Need to Know about Buying from Nordstrom USA
Let’s break down the realities of shopping at Nordstrom from Peru, and what you can expect at every stage, from product search to delivery.
- Nordstrom.com does not list Peru as a shipping country. Even if you use a Peruvian credit card, the shipping destination at checkout will not include “Peru.”
- Prices on the site are shown in US dollars.
- Some rare products may be eligible for international shipping via global courier partnerships (like Borderfree), but as of this writing, Peru is not a common destination.
- If you want to import products from USA to Peru, you’ll need a trustworthy intermediary with a US address.
- Nordstrom stores in the US do not arrange international parcel shipping or provide customs documentation to Peru.
This has created a growing demand for reliable package forwarding services from the USA to Peru, making international shopping from the USA easy, secure, and manageable—even if Nordstrom doesn’t officially export to Peru.
Nordstrom Shipping Options for Peru: What’s Available
If you’re searching for “does Nordstrom ship internationally to Peru?” or “can I ship Nordstrom orders to Peru?” here’s the latest situation:
- Nordstrom’s “Ship internationally” option is not available for most orders to Peru.
- You cannot choose a Peru address at checkout on Nordstrom.com.
- If you try placing an order with a non-US shipping address, the site will block the order or show an error.
Therefore, if you want to buy from Nordstrom in Peru, you must first have your order shipped to a US address. From there, a package forwarding service will handle the international shipping to Peru, with you as the final recipient.
