The Main Problem: Why Shipping Fashion Nova to Costa Rica Isn’t Simple
Fashion Nova is a go-to brand for global trend-setters, but if you live in Costa Rica, getting access to their collections isn’t straightforward. Many shoppers search for “how to buy from Fashion Nova and ship to Costa Rica” only to discover at checkout that their Costa Rican address is not accepted. Whether you’re looking for that must-have dress, affordable loungewear, or trending accessories, the challenge is the same: Fashion Nova’s shipping is currently limited to a handful of countries, and Costa Rica is not on the list.
So, what options do you have if you are in Costa Rica and want to order from US-based Fashion Nova? This is where international shipping and package forwarding services fill the gap, allowing shoppers in San José, Alajuela, Heredia, and beyond to shop from US online retailers and receive their goods back home.
Key Considerations for Fashion Nova Fans in Costa Rica
Before you get started on your shopping spree, here are important things Costa Rican shoppers should consider when trying to buy from Fashion Nova and ship to Costa Rica:
- Shipping Restrictions: Fashion Nova does not directly support international shipping to Costa Rica.
- Language & Currency: Fashion Nova transacts in English and US dollars only; all prices reflect the US market.
- Address Verification: Using a valid US address is essential, as Costa Rican addresses are not processed.
- Payment Challenges: Some Costa Rican/Latin American cards may not be accepted—services like assisted purchase can help.
- Import Duties and Local Taxes: Be prepared for your order to be subject to customs fees once it arrives in Costa Rica.
Does Fashion Nova Ship Directly to Costa Rica?
One of the most common questions is: does Fashion Nova ship directly to Costa Rica? As of now, the answer is no. Fashion Nova’s official shipping options do not include Costa Rica at checkout, and they do not have partnered international distributors serving the country. If you try to input a Costa Rica address, you’ll simply be unable to complete your order.
This limitation is not unique to Fashion Nova. Many popular US clothing retailers require a US shipping destination. If you want to buy from Amazon, Walmart, Target, or eBay, you’ll notice similar restrictions. However, by using a third-party shipping company, you can still order from these US brands and have your package forwarded internationally.
Why Use a Package Forwarding Service?
Package forwarders act as a “bridge” for international shoppers. With a free US address provided by services like Global Shopaholics, you can order from Fashion Nova (and hundreds of other US stores), consolidate your packages if you’re shopping from multiple brands, and have everything shipped together to Costa Rica.
This process helps you:
- Access Fashion Nova’s US-exclusive deals, collections, and discounts
- Take advantage of US sales events like Black Friday and Cyber Monday
- Reduce overall shipping costs through package consolidation
- Enjoy the flexibility of multiple courier and delivery options

Understanding Shipping Costs: What Does It Cost to Ship Fashion Nova to Costa Rica?
The cost to ship Fashion Nova to Costa Rica depends on several factors:
- Package weight & dimensions: The lighter and more compact your parcel, the cheaper the shipping
- Shipping method: Express courier services cost more than standard or economy options
- Consolidated packages: Combining multiple Fashion Nova orders into one package can reduce your per-item international shipping costs
- Courier company: Rates vary between DHL, FedEx, UPS, etc.—check prices before shipping
- Insurance, tracking & add-ons: Optional features may add a small cost but give peace of mind
You can estimate your shipping costs using this international shipping calculator. Final rates depend on real-time carrier rates, fuel surcharges, Costa Rica import rules, and local taxes. Always check before committing, as these factors can change.
Also consider import taxes and customs duties. Most clothing and fashion items attract taxes or fees in Costa Rica. These are set by local authorities and collected on arrival—Global Shopaholics can sometimes help prepay them, but in most cases, expect to pay these locally.
Typical Delivery Time for Fashion Nova Shipping to Costa Rica
Delivery time will depend on:
- How quickly Fashion Nova processes and sends your US order
- The speed of US domestic delivery to your forwarding address
